Haven't been in any car that puts
the similes to the miles like the
ImplalaSS. I grin when I am driving, I grin when I see other
SSers on the road, I grin when I go to the
garage and drool at that lovely road machine
with the LT1. |

The
first time I saw an Impala: |
Was back in 1994, read all the car
mags and saw the pics, oh ah & oh ah, had to have it. But at
that time kids were still in high school and
we had a conversion van to travel to all their soccer
competitions. So first one I saw was a BBB
'94 at a soccer game in Melbourne, FL, that did it,
I almost forgot to watch the daughters play ball that day.
When they all went to college in 1997.......I
started the search for "IT". She
had to be not Black, she had to be a '96, and she had to be in
town, so low and behold, saw ad in
newspaper by dealer for a DCM, and I was on the way. |

I'm a real car nut who likes muscle cars (have GTO's), antique cars (have Model T Fords),
old outboard boats, Corvettes (have '96 G/S),
motorcycles, oh well, just if it has an gas engine I love it!.
Have all the time to enjoy this passion upon
retiring from real workdays in 2000 after 30
years in the medical device industry. Family
enjoys my hobbies too, we have 4 grown daughters, 2 married, who
all like cars, and keep their significant
others in the fold of auto mania too. Family
outings are to the likes of Daytona Spring and Turkey Rod Run, and
about any other show.
